What is GPA?

 

GPA (or Great Pharmacy Adventure) is a student-run welcoming event for you, the UBC Pharmacy Class of 2022! Featuring a full day of creative team-building activities and exciting adventures, you can expect to make some memories you will never forget! On September 2, 2018, all first year students will form small teams with a senior pharmacy student that will journey through tasks and obstacles together as they seek to complete the Great Pharmacy Adventure around UBC’s beautiful campus.

 

How much does the event cost?

 

Early Bird Price: $36 (July 15th – July 21st @11:59pm)

Regular Price: $41 (July 22nd – July 28th @11:59pm)

When will I be notified about my group leader?

 

All participants will receive an email with their group members’ names and their group leader’s information by September 2, 2018. Look forward to getting a message from your group leader prior to the event!

 

I have a religious commitment on Sundays, can I come to GPA in the afternoon instead?

 

Of course! We are willing to accommodate anyone who is unable to make the full event but would still like to join partially. Please email us at gpa.exec@ubcphus.org regarding what times you are able to join us and also indicate this request in your registration form so we can try our best to help you.

 

Who do I contact if I can't attend GPA anymore?

 

Please contact us at gpa.exec@ubcphus.org with your full name, student number, and an explanation of your absence before September. From September onwards, please notify your group leader as we need to know right away if you are unable to make the event.

 

If I change my mind, can I get a refund?

 

Unfortunately, after submitting your registration form, there will be no refunds issued by the 2018 GPA committee.
